Revelation 9: The Fallen Star & The Locusts!

Revelation 9:1 says:

"...And I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to the earth, and the key of the pit of the abyss was given him."

We notice above, this particular "star" actually falls from "heaven" to "earth." What a curious scene for us to ponder. Additionally, we notice the "star" is linked to one referred to in verse 11 as "Abaddon," and "Apollyon." Then too, the fallen "star," is also referred to as being a "king," which God Almighty places over the designated persons we call the "locust" also. Since we know, the name "Abaddon" literally means "Destroyer," this fallen "star," then is likened to this powerful Angel who we remember led the wayward Israelites while wandering in the wilderness. He (this man) has the "Abaddon" personality, or the personality of this leader-Angel, yes, in God's eyes. In this capacity, he becomes a chosen vessel of Jehovah God...chosen to be God's "King," of the Locusts. That point is clear. -- 1 Corinthians 10:10; Exodus 23:20-23.

The Israelites were told about this particular leader Angelic figure,

"However, if you strictly obey his voice and really do all that I shall speak, then I shall certainly be hostile to your enemies and harass those who harass you. For my angel will go ahead of you and will indeed bring you to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, and I shall certainly efface them."

After considering the above, we see some possibilities to consider.

In the bible, sometimes "stars" are referred to as elders within the congregational arrangement. These "stars" are said to be in Jesus' hands, under his control. -- See Rev. 1:16, 20.

However, the bible also tells us that at some point in the future, one day very soon, the Dragon (Satan) will have the power to "drag" and "hurl down to earth," ... more "stars" from the "heavens" too. And that is because these very same "stars" pose a problem to the "Dragon," like the first "star" did, the one who had fallen from "heaven" in the beginning, as foretold at Revelation 9:1.

In the future, these particular "stars," thus will infuriate him [Satan] to do angry acts against themselves. Satan must now, take actions against these "heavenly stars" and "hurl them down to the earth," just like the first "star" was "hurled down" too by Satan to the "earth," the very same "star" mentioned in Revelation 9:1. And that is because all of these fallen," stars," all of them, fight Satanic "machinations" [crafty acts] within the congregational setting, where the wicked "men without the seal" preside, aka the "Man of Lawlessness," who presides in the Temple of "THE GOD," publicly showing himself to be a "god." -- Ephesians 6:11; 2 Thess. 2:3-12.

So the bible informs us, in the very near future, these "stars," these "elders," must be removed from their office of oversight because they refuse to work with the wicked men who "do not have the seal of God" as true anointed ones. These "stars," thus follow in the footsteps of the first "star," that God used in the beginning, the one Jehovah gave the special "key of knowledge" to, which started the "First Woe," against these wicked men without the "seal." -- See Luke 11:52; Revelation 12:4.

That being the case then, we could possibly be getting a glimpse of a singular "elder"-star, a lone person from "Israel," yes, being thrown down from the congregational structure of the apostate nation of Israel, Modern-Day Israel of our time, God's "Name" People of our time, the ones "called by God's Name." -- See Number 6:27; Deut. 28:10; 2 Chron. 7:14; Isaiah 10:6.

To show that God is with this special, lone ex-elder, this lone man that was thrown down from Modern-Day Israel of our time, God's Name People, Jehovah empowers this particular ex-elder, this ex-star with a special "key," ... yes, the "key of knowledge" that Jesus referred to, the very same "key" that the Pharisees took away from the people before Jesus came. This special "key" of knowledge, brings great fear to those wicked men, who "do not have the seal," the ones that keep "seeking death," but "death flees from them." They are not permitted by Jehovah God, to even die, to relieve them of their great "tormenting" days from the powerful "Locust" attack. -- Luke 11:52; Revelation 9:6

All of this means, when the fallen "star," receives this special "key" from Jehovah God, he is now empowered with helpers, many helpers to assist him in this great "torment" work against those wicked ones who "do not have the seal" of God upon themselves. These "Locusts" prove to be the "star's" helpers, to assist him in this great "tormenting" work against Jehovah "enemies," who profane His Holy Name. These special "helpers," or "locusts" are thus from Jehovah God, because they help the fallen "star," the ex-star, the ex-elder, do a very important "tormenting"-work for Jehovah, in the "last days."

Now we can consider, Rev. 9:4 which says about these helpers to the fallen "star," the "locusts" themselves, it states:

"And they were told to harm no vegetation of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads."

It seems the focus of the "Locust" attack was a spiritual one, because as the bible account says, they are told (by their king) to NOT attack "green things," plant life, "trees," of any kind. Instead, they were told specifically (evidently by the "Star" who was "king" over them) to not attack anything or anyone except ... except "those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads." -- Revelation 9:4

Obviously, this was a very focused attack, aimed at attacking only those "men who did not have the seal of God," and no one else. These "unsealed" men, thus became the target, for the "Locust" attack...a "five month" attack, approximately the length of the life-time of a literal Locust. Which means, it was to be a limited-time attack upon these "unsealed" wicked men who do not have God's all-important "seal" upon themselves. -- Revelation 9:5, 10

So then, what could these factors indicate for us?

Well, it seems this attack of the "Locusts," was a special spiritual attack (not a literal attack or physical attack upon physical vegetation), a spiritual attack upon those wicked enemies of God, who PROFESSED to have the "seal of God," but actually, did not. These wicked ones, then, have to be exposed as being persons who DO NOT have the "seal" or anointing "seal" from God. They have to be revealed as being, NON, that's non-anointed persons...fake anointed ones. -- See 2 Corinthians 1:22 and Ephesians 1:13, 14 which speaks of the "seal" of God upon those of the anointed, in the first century.

Also we can learn something else from the above verses too. The above indicates it was during a time when those "men," who did not have the "seal," were to be exposed by God Almighty, which it seemed inevitable this particular God-ordained locust plague was bound to do just this, expose them, as they had never been exposed before. Yes, expose them to be clearly wicked and prove once and for all, they did not truly having the "seal of God" upon themselves, as true "anointed" ones.

So then we could say, the God-ordained "Locust" plague of Revelation 9:1-11, then was to be a EXPOSE' period, to reveal these sinister characters before others. A expose' that these wicked men, certainly did not want to endure. No way. It would be during these particular days, that these wicked men "without the seal," would want to die, but "death kept fleeing from them." That's because Jehovah God Himself, saw to that! (Rev. 9:6)

Based upon what we have considered so far, the "star" that fell from "heaven," pictures a modern-day figure, a man from Modern-Day "Israel," God's Name People, who is thrown or hurled down out of his position as "elder," and subsequently leads a powerful brigade against wicked men, who "do not have the seal of God," but are actual enemies of Jehovah God and Jesus Christ.

And, after this "star" has fallen, no doubt by the hand of Satan, he is given a special "key," of special knowledge that empowers him to open a "pit of the abyss" where sleeping ones lie. (Romans 10:7) These sleeping ones need to be awaken, from sleep to fulfill their destiny to become powerful, "tormenting" locust for God! He uses this "key," and the "locust" come out, all ready for battle, a special "5-month" battle, that literally terrifies the wicked men who "do not have the "seal" of God upon themselves. They are so terrified of this attack, that they even "wish to die," rather than face this terrible "torment" upon themselves. But, alas, no...no Jehovah will not let these wicked ones die off, no not before this "torment" work, is complete before Him. This special "torment" must last, according the bible, yes for "5 months," ... the life duration of the insect we know as a locust.
